11 - Cappadocia, Turkey
Cappadocia
is a beautiful region in central Turkey famous for its fairytale scenery, cave
dwellings, remarkable rock formations and, of course, the hundreds of hot air
balloons that soar in the sky during sunrise each morning. There is also so
much awesome hiking in Cappadocia, that will take you at least a week to
explore all of the diverse hiking trails in the region.
12 - Lençòis Maranhenses, Brazil
In
Brazil, in the Northeast, there is a magnificent place that few travelers have
yet seen: it is the Lençóis Maranhenses, literally the “bedsheets of Maranhão”,
endless white sand dunes dotted with lagoons of clear water. It's a must-see place to discover this magnificent place and the possible excursions to do to
experience them in real life.
13 - Mostar, Bosnia
The
second largest city in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mostar is above all the
country's largest tourist destination. Nestled in the heart of the Neretva
Valley, it is characterized by its old houses and its old bridge, Stari Most.
Now listed by UNESCO, the city and its bridge have been rebuilt after being
destroyed during the Bosnian war.
14 - Neuschwanstein Castle, Germany
The
fairy-tale Neuschwanstein castle is one of the most visited tourist attractions
in Germany. Hohenschwangau Castle (Bavaria) was built on the commission of King
Ludwig II. For security reasons the palace can only be visited during a 35
minute guided tour, and no photography is allowed inside the castle. There are
also special guided tours that focus on specific topics.
15 - Pailòn Del Diablo, Ecuador
The
main attraction in the surroundings of Banos is the Pailòn del Diablo
waterfall. After 30 minutes of descent along a path lost in lush green
vegetation, you can admire a deafening waterfall from 80 meters high. A small
viewpoint allows you to approach the waterfall even closer and the passage over
the large suspension bridge is a unique experience as if you were in the heart
of the Amazon. From Banos, the starting point of the walk can be reached by car
or by bicycle (many hotels offer bicycle rentals which you can then leave at
the bar near the waterfall).

The
oldest fishing village in the stunning Lofoten archipelago is small, but
unbelievably beautiful. It is considered to be one of the most picturesque
villages in the municipality of Moskenes, which is also a popular tourist
