21 - Blue Lagoon, Iceland 

The Blue Lagoon is one of Iceland's most desirable spots, and it's not hard to see why when you see the contrast between the milky, opaque blue of its waters against the surrounding black lava fields covered in  dark green moss. The Blue Lagoon is a large lake ideal for swimming, since the average water temperature is 39 ° C / 102 ° F. It is located on the Reykjanes Peninsula in the southwest of Iceland. It is only a 15 minutes drive from Keflavik International Airport, and about a 30 minutes drive from Iceland's capital, Reykjavik. It is therefore one of the best ways to start or end your stay in Iceland. Because of its excellent geographical location and its soothing and nourishing waters for the skin, the Blue Lagoon has quickly become the most visited place in Iceland that only the Golden Circle can compete with.
